Children are not born criminals or killers

Research shows that children who are systematically subjected to abuse and deprived of loving care develop neuro-chemical vulnerabilities. This results in hyper-agitation, impulsive behaviour, an inability to assess situations appropriately, and a self-centred preoccupation with survival.
